The story didn’t end at all how I thought it would. It seemed a bit disjointed. And no one will regret ever blackmoroe up this book. Both for when you want something that is going to make you happy! It was told that Kate’s mother tried to flirt with Henry’s Dad but he turned her down.
The plot was awesome and original, but I feel like it got too ‘warm’ in some places and it wasn’t something I’d want to read in donalson prophet’s presence. I cried so muchlaughed, smiled at the edge of my seat. I hadn’t heard of either this or Edenbrooke before reading your review, but now I am certainly curious! I read it in one sitting, and I completely escaped my sense of reality. For that is what I felt as soon as I met her—disappointment that she was so very bland. Would you like to tell us about a lower price? But whyI kept asking myself. It was just so romantic, and beautiful, and vivid and heart-wrenching.
Anyway, both Edenbrooke and Blackmoore are lots of fun! India, yes, but only after Kate has secured — and rejected — three marriage proposals. Kate Worthington knows her heart and she knows she will never marry. It is a weakness of the human heart to imagine that something that starts with passion can last. This is a book that I will let my kids read. Can she not foresee the disastrous consequences her actions could have?

How could I forget, when we were beat up over the head continuously with that name? I stood, my music gripped to my chest, my face hot. A poignant story to be sure. Donaldson does a delightful job of writing about the regency era without trying to sonaldson off Jane Austen stories as her stories are uniquely her own.
