Cioran’s thought and writing can only adequately be described as ‘pleasantly exhausting’: But then again, he was only 22 when he wrote In the Heights of Despair, and any sin of style and exaggeration can be forgiven due to his young age. Do you need a hug? Think – Samuel Beckett and Eugene Ionesco but flavored with full-blown nihilistic humor.
