After listening to library customers rave about Clive Cussler, I figured I should give it a try. If you take a look at the cover of this book, Clive Cussler’s name is clearly the focus of the page, but the words inside are, for the most part, certainly not his words. Golden Buddha has wonderful twists and surprises, which I love as gplden avid reader.


In any case, it was an interesting, enjoyable read that I would recommend to readers who enjoy action adventure or as my favorite used bookstore labels it, Men’s Fiction I loved the idea of having unlimited funds, firepower, connections, disguises, skills, intelligence etc in order to accomplish your “righteous” mission. Share your thoughts with other customers. But in Golden Buddhahe’s reduced himself to the status of an overweight, out of shape punch drunk fighter that just doesn’t know when to hang up the gloves and retire!

And it didn’t help that they all were in disguise half the time, so I couldn’t even rely on physical descriptions cuslser tell them apart. buddhx

It was an okay book, but as a I really enjoy the Oregon Files, but its a good think I didn’t start of with this full version as my first venture into the lives of Juan and the crew as I might not have returned. Good God this book was awful. Add all three to Cart Add all three to List. Amazon Advertising Find, attract, and engage customers.

They just kidnap the real people and hide them. In an attempt to come off as modern day Robin Hoods, Cabrillo instead comes off as an uncaring mercenary budcha few if any ethics. Also in The Oregon Files. The plot was a little confusing at times but came together in the end. I just never really cared what happened. I listened to this audiobook and found it very dry. I’m going to give one cjssler book in the series a try and see how it feels. So I will read it but unless Cussler pulls a real rabbit out of his hat, he’s off my list!
