I have this book, it was given to me as a birthday gift. Great recipes, and a real feel for how these establishments work and feel. Now that we live in the States, we can’t do that, so he was happy to get this book and make a few things from it.

Unfortunately we were unable to bring any back with us as they were all specially made by family relatives during the harvest festivals in Sabah. This book jzpanese some beautiful pictures and descriptions, and I can’t wait to try the recipes.

I really really want to visit Japan! I love pub food and japanese food so Izakayas might be great, unfortunately here we haven’t even tthe one.
